For Jewish Audiences:

Joanie has created musical experiences for Jewish families, pre-school programs and adult audiences since 1983, both in the US and in Israel. Fluent in both Hebrew and English, Joanie lived in Israel for 23 years, and she sings traditional and original songs in Hebrew, Ladino, Yiddish, and English, and weaves stories, dances and games from the international Jewish family throughout her presentations, incorporating movement, puppets and interactive storytelling throughout each performance.

Joanie brings her collection of songs and stories for holidays, Shabbat, Jewish culture, and just plain fun to congregational Zimri’ot, Tot Shabbat programs, Religious School events, and teacher workshops. She shares her love of Israel, Hebrew and Jewish values through her original songs, traditional songs, and stories. Joanie's programs are always interactive and full of fun and learning for
all ages.
